Important Information

1- This is an equity fund mainly invests in other collective investment schemes that provides exposures to thematic equities. The value of the Sub-Fund could then be volatile and the Sub-Fund may suffer significant losses.

2- Investing in this Sub-Fund may involve equity risk, market and volatility risk, currency risk and concentration risk. It may also involve risk of investing in other collective investment schemes, and risk of thematic-based investment strategy.  

3- For Distribution classes, the Manager may at its discretion determine to pay dividends out of income or capital of the Sub-Fund. In addition, the Manager may at its discretion pay dividends out of gross income while charging / paying all or part of the Sub-Fund’s fees and expenses to the capital of the Sub-Fund, resulting in an increase in distributable income for the payment of dividends by the Sub-Fund, in which case, the Sub-Fund is effectively paying dividends out of capital. Payment of dividends out of capital amounts to a return or withdrawal of part of an investor’s original investment or from any capital gains attributable to that original investment. Such distributions may result in an immediate reduction in the net asset value per unit of the Sub-Fund.

Key Features about Amundi Global Thematic Equity Fund

  • Amundi HK Global Multi-Thematic Equity Fund (“The Fund”) invests in a range of 5 to 15 themes which comprise of more than 80 thematic funds.
  • Those themes included ageing population, ecology and artificial intelligence. The Fund will also invest in non-HK registered funds.
  • Each thematic fund has its investment cycle. In order to achieve risk diversification, The Fund conducts in-depth analysis and research on each thematic fund. It included the correlations between different thematic funds and the market.
  • The Fund is managed by a team of 23 investment professionals with more than 15 years of experience on average in asset management industry*. Every month, the team will have meetings on asset allocation and risk assessment, in order to search for the best within the same asset class.
  • Historically, no single investment theme will always outperform. Through active, flexible thematic allocation, The Fund enjoys short-mid term positive opportunities while also invests in long term themes.
