These sub-funds are likely to be more volatile than sub-funds with a broader range of investment.   Some sub-funds may use Financial Derivative Instruments (FDI) for hedging and/or efficient portfolio management purposes which may lead to exposure to credit risk of the issuer, liquidity risk, counterparty risk and valuation risk.
  • Some sub-funds may expose to a higher degree of risk due to the investment in small and medium companies.

  • Some sub-funds may invest in sub-investment grade securities which are subject to substantial credit and liquidity risk.
  • Reserve sub-funds are not time deposit and is not guaranteed.

  • Amundi HK Portfolios is an umbrella unit trust consisting of different Sub-Funds investing in equities, bonds, money market instruments and other investment fund(s), each with different risk profiles.
  • Some Sub-Funds may invest directly or indirectly through an underlying fund in global equity and fixed-interest instruments and will be mainly exposed to market risks, including (but not limited to) risks related to (1) the volatility of equity prices, (2) changes in interest rates, as well as (3) changes in prevailing foreign-exchange rates, as well as to liquidity risk, credit risk and counterparty risk. • For hedged classes, each of the hedges classes of units will hedge the Sub-Fund’s base currency back to its currency of denomination, on a best effort basis, with an objective to align the performance of the hedged classes to that of the equivalent class denominated in the fund’s base currency. However, there is no guarantee that the hedging techniques employed by the manager will fully and effectively achieve the desired result and effect. Furthermore the volatility of the hedged classes may be higher than that of the equivalent class denominated in the fund’s base currency. If the counterparties of the instruments used for hedging purpose default, investors of the hedged classes may be exposed to currency exchange risk of the currency of denomination of the relevant class on an unhedged basis and may therefore suffer further losses. Investors have to bear the associated hedging costs which may be significant depending on prevailing market conditions
  • For distribution classes, the Manager may at its discretion determine to pay dividends out of income or capital of the fund. In addition, the Manager may at its discretion pay dividends out of gross income while charging / paying all or part of the fund’s fees and expenses to the capital of the fund, resulting in an increase in distributable income for the payment of dividends by the fund, in which case, the fund is effectively paying dividends out of capital. Payment of dividends out of capital amounts to a return or withdrawal of part of an investor’s original investment or from any capital gains attributable to that original investment. Such distributions may result in an immediate reduction in the net asset value per unit of the fund. For Distribution II class, the quarterly distribution is not guaranteed, and the fund’s asset for this share class available for investment will be further decreased after each quarterly dividend payment
  • Amundi Hong Kong Balanced Fund, Defensive Balanced Fund, Growth Fund, New Generation Asia Pacific Equity Dividend Fund and Global Ageing Planet Opportunities Fund, these sub-funds will have limited RMB-denominated underlying investment.
  • As RMB is not freely convertible, the investment in RMB classes may be adversely affected by the fluctuation in the exchange rate between RMB and other foreign currencies and the liquidity of RMB at the relevant time. In case of sizable redemption requests for the RMB classes, the Manager has the absolute discretion to delay any payment of redemption requests from the RMB classes.
  • Amundi HK Money Market USD is a feeder fund of Amundi Funds Cash USD(“Underlying Fund”), which is a money market fund. The Underlying Fund is not guaranteed. The purchase of shares in the Underlying Fund is not the same as placing funds on deposit with a bank or deposit taking company.
  • The value of the fund can be extremely volatile and could go down substantially within a short period of time. It is possible that your investment value could suffer substantial loss.
  • The investment decision is yours. You should not invest in any of the subfunds of this Fund unless the intermediary who recommends it to you has advised you that the sub-fund is suitable for you and has explained to you why, including how investment in the sub-fund will be consistent with your investment objectives.

Amundi Global Dynamic Allocation Protect 90 Fund (HKD)

The Sub-Fund aims to:

  1. achieve stable capital growth via a dynamic capital preservation strategy, in which assets are allocated between a growth component (mainly equities, fixed income and absolute return funds) and a conservative component (mainly cash, money market and fixed income instruments as well as collective investment schemes).
  2. provide each unitholder a daily protection representing 90% of the highest Net Asset Value (NAV) per Unit since the inception (i.e. the first Dealing Day) of the Sub-Fund (the “Guaranteed Value”). The unitholders can realize their units with the higher of the NAV per Unit on the Dealing Day or the Guaranteed Value.
  • The Sub-Fund is a guarantee fund that guarantees at least 90%, but not 100%, of the initial investment amount. Any potential return in excess of the Guaranteed Value is not guaranteed. The Sub-Fund is not a time deposit. The guarantee is subject to credit risk of the Guarantor, Credit Agricole S.A..
  • The Initial Period for the Guarantee is 5 years, which may be renewed for successive further periods of one year. In the event that the guarantee terminates at the end of the Initial Period or the relevant Renewed Period (as the case may be) and the Manager is unable to procure a renewal of the guarantee prior to the end of the Initial Period or the relevant Renewed Period (as the case may be), or that the Guarantor terminates the guarantee by exercising its power to do so, the Sub-Fund will be terminated. In case of prolonged Monetization Situation where the Sub-Fund continuously records negative performance and the spread between daily NAV and the Guaranteed Value becomes very tight (e.g. less than 1% of the highest daily NAV since inception of the Sub-Fund), the Sub-Fund may invest 100% in the conservative component, and the Manager will be entitled to terminate the Sub-Fund. Under the above circumstances, all the units held by the unitholders will be compulsorily redeemed and investors may suffer losses. Please refer to the offering documents for details on the Guarantee and the Monetization Situation.
  • Investing in this Sub-Fund may involve risk associated with equities, fixed income securities and other collective investment schemes. It may also involve specific risk relating to dynamic asset allocation strategy, and connected parties risk. In the event of monetization, the Sub-Fund might not benefit from any further increase of the market.
  • Investors should note that subscription fee may apply when investors subscribe the Sub-Fund.
  • The value of the Sub-Fund can be volatile and the Sub-Fund may suffer significant losses.
  • Investors must read the offering document carefully for further details, especially the details of the guarantee, fees and charges as well as the risk factors. Investors should not only base on this marketing material alone to make investment decisions

Amundi Vietnam Opportunities Fund

  •  Investors should note that the Sub-Fund may invest in structured notes or participation notes issued by companies within the Amundi, to which the Manager and the Investment Adviser also belong, and this could result in potential conflicts of interest.
  • Any Performance Fee charged to the Sub-Fund will not be calculated on a unit-by-unit basis and no equalisation or series of units provisions will apply. As such, the Performance Fee payable may not reflect the individual performance of the Units in question.
  • The value of the fund can be extremely volatile and could go down substantially within a short period of time. It is possible that your investment value could suffer substantial loss.
  • The investment decision is yours but you should not invest unless the intermediary who sells it to you has advised you that it is suitable for you and has explained why, including how buying it would be consistent with your investment objectives.
